The government of Georgia plans to allocate 15-20 million GEL for large families.
Manana Manjgaladze, spokesperson of President, made this statement at today’s traditional briefing and responded to President’s initiative regarding the issue.
Manana Manjgaladze, reiterated that in case of having third child family will receive 1000 GEL support, fourth and following children will receive – 2000 GEL.
“The total value of this initiative will be around 15-20 million GEL, if we rely on existing demographic statistics. Demographic indicator has been improved in last years and positive tendency continues” – noted Manjgaladze.
She also added that starting from January 1, 2013, all families with 4 children under 18 will receive full insurance package.
