Andrew Urushadze, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Affairs was replaced by Zurab Chiaberashvili, Georgia's former ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Prime - Minister Nika Gilauri stated that before the cabinet meeting today at a news briefing.
He thanked Urushadze for his activities and noted that he will be moved to the post of Deputy Mayor.
"We thank Andrew Urushadze for the successful reforms implemented during his cabinet. In fact, vector has changed, 90 new hospitals were built. In addition, number of news ones to be built and other new reforms will be launched. Andrew Urushadze will move to Deputy Mayor's post and continue to work on social and health issues", - said the Minister.
As for the Chiaberashvili, as the prime - minister, said, "He is a good manager, and at this point country needs a good manager."
"Chiaberashvili has perfectly worked in Strasbourg as an ambassador for 5 years. Also worked successfully as an ambassador to Switzerland, but now he will complete the reforms, which has already started", - noted the Prime Minister.
