Archimandrite Claudius responded to the issue of transferring Cross Monastery in Jerusalem to Georgia. According to Georgian TV channels, he said that “Georgians have achieved success in the negotiations of above stated issue”.

Besides, Archimandrite stated that “Monastery is officially redeemed by Greek Church”.

As it is known, one of the important meetings addressing the issue was held yesterday by David Bakradze. The Chairman of the parliament had meeting with Théophile the third to discuss the issue. David Bakradze has visited the monastery and got familiar with its current condition. Théophile the third’s specific position is not known yet.
